Going on diets and taking weight loss pills to eliminate food cravings is only temporary and leads to obesity. The best weight loss program is probably NOT about diets, diet pills, fad diets, or even about dieting! Most simply stated, the best weight loss program is the one you will stick with. Let’s modify that a little and say that it is a healthy, doable, rational, flexible program you will stick with…that works!

It is very important to maintain a stable weight with proper eating and exercise habits year round. Healthy weight loss plan delivers small successes everyday, building momentum along the way, peaking at the point in time when you reach you’re goal. This is key to dieting success. Where do you start? Let’s begin with diet. The first thing you have to do is to cut back on your daily food intake. Then you need to replace the bad foods with the good. Stay focused on a lifestyle change that will last all your life. Even if diet pills, fad diets, and things like weight loss belts or devices that supposedly exercise for you do work, their affect is short lived (and sometimes dangerous) and, as was pointed out above, once you quit the pill or the program you may gain back even more weight than you lost.
